St. Lawrence Choir is always seeking new members. Our rehearsal and concert schedules are challenging and regular participation is essential for the highest level of excellence that we strive for.

Rehearsals take place at Notre Dame de Grace church (5333 Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Ave., in NDG) on Wednesday evenings, 7-9:30 p.m., and occasionally on weekends and other evenings.

2010-2011 Membership fees for the choir are $216 ($155 for students/unemployed).
- Auditions are a cappella.
- Prepare a short (about one minute) song of your choice (aria, popular song, folk song, hymn…)
- Sight Reading – there will be a selection of different choral pieces (different styles, different languages, various levels of difficulty), you will sight-read your specific voice part
- Specific vocal tests - range, timbre, intonation, dynamics, flexibility
