Layers of success for Triptyque Nordique

St. Lawrence Choir’s March concert ‘Triptique Nordique’ was always going to be a challenge. An entirely a cappella programme, two new complex works from local Canadian composers, vocal ‘effects’ to master as well as works by Hindemith, Debussy and Ravel to perfect. Then add eight visual artists who paint ‘live’ during the music and you have a multi-layered choral-music concert that somewhat departs from the norm.
